Stephen Day is the principle of Sterling Consulting, Inc. (SCI) and has been involved in the food manufacturing Industry since 1977. SCI was established in 2001 after it recognized an industry need for effective sourcing of engineering and project management expertise. SCI has engineering project experience from M & M Mars in the UK, Hunt-Wesson Foods a division of ConAgra Foods, NBTY and currently as a project engineering consulting firm.
SCI is experienced in many areas of food manufacturing, having successfully worked in facility design, process, packaging line engineering, plant engineering, R&D process development and project management. This experience, covering all phases of project development from concept, cost savings, design and complete execution, has prepared SCI to quickly analyze situations, efficiently formulate solutions and effectively implement them.
